Personality & Traits

General Overview		Shy and timid in nature. 6th Host to Vox after Torbin, Azrel, Lerani, Jorran and Raekwon. Has NOT been through the Initiate Programme. Did have the intention of doing so but being the only Trill onboard at the time of the rescue of Raekwon Vox, who unfortunately died of his injuries, had to become the new host for the Vox Symbiont.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Strengths: Will stand up for what she believes to be true. Will say what she thinks. Weaknesses: Has a very sweet tooth and can rarely say no to chocolate.
Ambitions		Beat father at Tribdon for once. But she suspects that he cheats but can't prove it.

Personal History		Deezell, an only child, grew up pretty much like any other child on the Trill home world, but she had an interest in how things worked from a very early age. As she got older, she taught herself how to take things apart, repair them, and then put them back together. It wasn't long before she saved her mother the time having to hire people to fix things in their home as Deezell was able to fix almost anything. She was the first in her family to be accepted into Starfleet, where excelled at various subjects including history, engineering, propulsion and languages. After graduation, her first assignment was on Starbase one orbiting Earth. She eventually earned the promotion to Ensign and asked for a new assignment to Starbase 400, which unknown to her, would dramatically change her future. Whilst on route to SB400, the ship she was on, picked up a distress signal from a private vessel, that was critically damaged due to collision with a quantum filament. The sole pilot. A joined Trill, Raekwon Vox was severely injured. Moments after rescue, his ship exploded. Unfortunately, Raekwon died of his injuries and so the ship had to delay it's journey in order to take the symbiont 'Vox' back to Trill. On route, however, the health of Vox deteriorated and only implantation to a new host could save them. Deezell Timurs was the only Trill onboard which meant she was the only candidate. After a very concise lecture from the Chief Medical Officer, who himself openly admitted not having a great understanding of the Trill and of joining, Deezell laid on the operating table one person and woke up a completely different person, even her friends from the academy weren't sure who she was. So now, not only was she the first in her family to join Starfleet but also the first to be joined in over 200 years.
