Mission:
VFY S1, E6: The Drax Empire
Location: Port Royale Promenade & The Eagles Quarters
John Eagle had snuck out of their quarters extra early in order to get fresh food to place on his wife's bed, he always liked making her breakfast in bed.
Nicole awoke to find John already gone, smiling she had an idea what he'd gone to do. Getting up she took a walk to the bathroom to freshen up smiling as she looked at herself in the mirror. She started to hum a song to herself as she brushed her hair, she didn't often sing to herself but she was so happy with their new life that it just seemed to come naturally.
She walked up to view-port that showed the darkness of space, billions of star filled the view that wasn't obscured by the planet below. The humming switched to the beginning of the song.

Her hands were gently caressing her stomach, containg the miracles of life. Her voice gentle and filled with emotion. JJ just got through the door with food when he heard her singing, her back was to him so she didn't see him enter and her song was keeping her focus enough that she missed the sound of the door opening and closing.

Nicole looked up at the stars as her voice was slowly rising in intensity and power. John was amazed by what he was hearing, he had NEVER heard her singing and this song was filled with so much emotion that he was completely speechless as his eyes went wide.

Nicole's voice radiated through out the room, she was now singing with her entire body. John was watching her and his mouth had opened slightly, even his eyes had gone slightly misty from the purity of her voice and the song. He knew the song well, it was from one of their favorite old earth movies, The greatest showman.

Nicole was now truly pushing power in to her voice and john could feel her joy simply radiating out of her like a sun. But that was nothing compared what he would witnesses next. As she started the last coures, she held out her hands low and slowly raised them and through pure luck of timing. The sun rose from behind the planet like she was literally commanding the sun to come out.

John saw it all, he instantly got goosebumps, the rising sun literally gave her a golden aura and he had never seen anything like it in his entire life. It was so far beyond beautiful that each word hit him like a wave of power, rippling his goosebumps again and again.

She ended it like she started, her hands gently stroking her stomach. John was still so surprised he didn't realize she had stopped.
Nicole’s eyes widened with surprise as she turned around to see John standing behind her, looking completely stunned and bewildered. “JJ... I... I didn’t realize you were there.” She looked more than a little embarrassed even though they’d known each other since they were kids, long before they’d fallen in love.
He was slightly snapped out of it and placed the food on a table. A tear fell down his cheek as he was so moved, he actually clapped. He never knew she had this in her. He was still just as speechless, the memory of it all had moved him to the core.
Nicole blushed a deep shade of red as JJ clapped. She’d never had the guts to sing in front of anyone even him. Seeing the tear run down his cheek she walked over to him and gently raised her hand to his cheek wiping it away. “It’s how you make me feel JJ”
He smiled and rested his head into her hand. "You have no idea how happy that makes me feel."
“Yes I do” She grinned. “I can feel the joy and emotion you’re feeling. I wish I could put into words how I feel for you JJ but there aren’t the words to explain it! I knew that first time I saw you when we were children that you were special to me, I’m just looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you.”
"I do understand. That song really hit it home. But lets eat."
Nicole nodded and smiled as she took a seat. This would be a morning she wouldn’t soon forget.
