Location: Location: Starbase Port Royale, Transporter Room
Timeline: January 15, 2397, 1450 hrs
Avril beamed over to Starbase Port Royale. She did not come alone. She was accompanied by Alex. Her bags were packed up. "Well here is to new starts." Avril said, feeling a little guilty for leaving Captain Anderson on the Shanghai, but the chance to serve as a support xo of the USS Tianjin and Chief Flight Operations Officer. Both positions were a step in the right direction for her career.
Alex smiled as he walked down the padd with Avril, his bag was over his shoulder, both of them met with the duty chief, and made their way over to the Quartermaster. They were assigned separate quarters. They were a new couple, and even though they liked each other. It was not practical for them to move into together, at this stage of their relationship.
"Not to bad, only 7 rooms apart." Avril said, with a small grin. She was happy to see they would be near each other, so if she wanted to go over and watch a movie, it would not take him long, to walk her home.
Alex was a charmer, and a little old fashion like that. He loved to spend time with Avril, and so far they have had two dinner dates, and he walked her home on the USS Shanghai. Now he could walk her home on the station, or vice a versa, he could walk home after spending time with her, at her place.
"That will be a nice change, on the Shanghai, we lived one deck part. But on a station like this we could have been several decks apart." Avril said, as she felt releaved they were so close. She leaned in to give him a hug.
"It will be, can not wait to see my new quarters, and invite you over for a movie. Maybe a little cuddling on the couch?" He asked with a big grin on his face.
"I would like that, I hope we have time tonight. Still need to meet up with Commodore Martinez, and get my security clearances for the Station and the Tianjin." Avril said, feeling that today was going to be a long night for her. It was still early in the afternoon.
"Will play it by ear, but I hope to see you tonight. I have to meet with the Commodore as well, and meeting up with the corps of engineers, and check in on the Tianjin." Alex said, seeing that he was going to have a long night as well. Maybe tonight would not be a good day for the two of them, to watch a movie. The scene starts to fade.
