Location: Port Royale, Lounge
Timeline: January 15, 2397, 2130 Hrs
Sarah was relieved that the night was finally done. What a day she thought, as she walked into one of the lounges. She was looking to have a couple of drinks, before heading home for the night. She walked in and noticed Domingo sitting at a table. "Of all the bars, I could walk into, you would happen to be at the same one." She teased with a big grin on her face.
"Hey Sarah, I guess we both had the same idea." Domingo said, as he looked at his drink. And took a small sip. He was still thinking about the day he had. He had no idea, how much work went into a station.
"what are you drinking?" Sarah asked.
"A corona, you want one?" Domingo asked, as he took another sip from his glass. He signaled the bartender over to his table, and motioned for Sarah to have a seat. "Join me, Sarah."
Sarah took a seat, and ordered a corona from the bartender. Then looked over to Domingo. When she got her drink, she raised her glass for a toast. "Here is to new commands." She said, waiting him to clink his glass with hers.
Domingo smiled as they clinked glasses. "I will admit this to you, but I never expected life on a station to be so interesting. I have a Cardassian First Officer, who's father wants to kill him, and is security threat to the federation. Then we have a new cardassian ambassador, that has already filed 23 complaints about his room accommodations, and attache's assigned to him. And this is all in one day." He said with a big sigh on his face.
"The Ambassador is an aquired taste, and his aggressive personality, was a bit much. I can not recall how many times, I turned down his advances. But sounds like he gets around, 23 complaints in one day?" Sarah said, as she took another sip, and chuckled at the number of complaints.
"No doubt he is just getting started, Maybe I should have Commander Rhe or Captain Prenar talk to him?" Domingo said, with a tone of sinserty in his voice.
"Might be a good idea to have the first officer try, he a high ranking cardassian on this station, and it might get the Ambassador to listen to reason." Suggested Sarah, she knew if Domingo talked to him, it would only escalate the verbal onslaught that he had been given to everyone.
"I will mention it to Captain Prenar, in the morning." Said Domingo, as they continued to talk for a while, as the scene starts to fade.
