Location: Port Royale, Hanger Bay 5

With the Runabout docked Nicole was doing her best to pack what little things she’d need from the Runabout, most of their things were already crated up for transport to their quarters and shop premises but they had yet to see the location of the shop and how big it was. She was finding it increasingly frustrating doing the smallest of jobs now her rounded stomach was as big as it was but she persevered as best as she could. She was just about done when her senses picked up on the approach of someone. “JJ...” She called out to where JJ was...."we have a visitor.”

The landing of the shuttle had been quite uneventful and John was now programing the security system to lock the shuttle down. This small ship was one of their more prized possessions. When she called out, he turned and headed for the entrance of the runabout. He trusted her senses after years of knowing her. Though it was sometimes overcome, they were a good early warning system in a sense.

Nicole followed on slowly behind him, she liked to be kept informed of everything and it would be rude not to meet whoever it was that had come to greet them.

When she was ready he locked down the runabout with one of the two keys that was needed to pilot the ship. The hatch opened and he walked out of the interior of the vessel.

Nicole smiled as she held onto JJ’s arm, she’d been looking forward to starting this new chapter of their lives. She just hoped the old chapter wouldn’t come back to haunt them.

Lobby Lounge in Hanger Bay 5

Domingo had met of his officers in his ready room, but there was a few officers that he was going to meet out of his office. He wanted to meet two shop owners. First one being the Eagle's and Omek. The Eagle's were setting up an antique shop/novelty shop. According to their pitch from the Federation, the Eagles prided themselves, on finding rare items. He agreed to meet the Eagles in the lounge area. He had read the file that showed Mrs Eagle was pregnant.

Domingo did not want to inconvenience the Eagle's more than he needed too. He walked over to the lounge, and noticed the couple sitting at one of the tables. "I'm sorry to keep you waiting." He said, as he reached out to shake the hand of John and Nicole.

Nicole smiled warmly as she reached to shake Domingo's hand. "Not to worry, we haven't been here long it takes me a little while to get anywhere these days." She let go of his hand and rested hers back on her bump. "I'm Nicole and this is my husband John."

John reached out his own hand to shake it. "I hope you don't think me blunt, but I would like to ask you about a few things."

Nicole relaxed back in her seat, she always let JJ deal with the business side of things, she was always the hands on one of their partnership JJ planned her training for each job and kept a watchful eye on her at all times from a selected location. They were quite the team in their day and no doubt could be again if they had to be but Nicole was glad to be 'retired' as JJ put it.

"You're reputation proceeds you Mister Eagle, this station can benefit from the services you provide." Hinted Domingo, but not wanting to reveal, he knew more than he was letting on. He had a feeling there was more to the couple than he was leading on. Today he would give him a pass. He needed a favor from the Eagle's.

JJ arched an eyebrow at that, was it his dealings in antiques and rarer goods or their alter life they had left behind. "We strive to please, I would like to know how high the standards of your medical bay and staff is. As you can see, I have some extra lives to think of that isn't that of my own and my wives."

"Wives, Mister Eagle?" Said Domingo with a surprise tone. He knew of the Nicole. But his file was clearly out of date. When did he get married to other partners? Or was this a comment to keep him off a balance. He smiled as he said, "before you answer that, as I said I need a favor. I want a bottle of Bloodwine, circa 2309. Cn you procure one for me?" Domingo asked, thinking back to the deal he made with Commander Tias.

"Yes. Mine and my the life of my wife." JJ said. The question about the blood wine was a fascinating one. "Well, that is a rare vintage. But I think we have some of it." he turned to Nicole. "You know if we have some in our inventory."

Nicole nodded. "I think so, at last check there were some bottles of blood wine I just need to check the vintage." She smiled absentmindedly running her hand over her stomach. "As soon as we get our things sorted I'll check and see."

"We will have to establish currency regulations, but I look forward to doing business with you." Domingo as he shook the man's hand. He was trying to motion with his hand, that they had a business deal.

JJ had not got an answer about the medical facilities onboard, so he would have to go and look himself later. "If we have one in stock, we can have it within one standard day. Since we don't carry our stock with us, we have established safe-houses. Should I speak with your XO about the shop premises?"

"Your shop is ready for you, You scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours." Domingo said, thinking this was going to be a lucrative partnership. The federation typically made shop owners cut through the red line tape of bureaucracy. However Domingo was forgoing all of that.

“In that case...my husband did ask you about the station medical facilities and staff.” Nicole looked at Domingo. “We are understandably nervous about the medical facilities as I’ll be having twins in a matter of two to three months time.”

"Congrats to you both on having twins. We have standard medical facilities on throughout the station, and a state of the art hospital ward in the heart of the station. Plus there is a sickbay facility not to far from your shop. It's not set up for long term care, but they can help transport you to the main facility." Domingo said, with a big grin on his face. He had yet to inspect the facilities, but had read about them. There was so much of this station to visit still.

“Thank you” Nicole smiled at JJ looking much more relaxed now she’d been told about the facilities that would care for her and their children. “I’m glad to hear that, it puts my mind at rest.”

"Yes. One of our worries dealt with. Now, do you know about our living space onboard?" JJ leaned close. "Maybe I could..." he caughed. "Acquire two double quarters next to each other and bring down the wall." This admiral seamed like he was more of a business man than other federation officers he had run in to.

"Get me the bottle, and we can talk about increasing your room size." Domingo said with a big grin. While he was working on getting the bottle. Domingo would work on getting him his request. He was going to be a father of twins, they would need the extra space.

“In that case I might just throw in an extra bottle of blood wine in return for your help.” Nicole smiled. “We don’t often get requests for it so we won’t go short. It’s the least we can do in return for all your help.” She looked at JJ, she didn’t very often get involved in the negotiations but this meant a lot to her and she didn’t think JJ would mind.

"Well, the lady has spoken." JJ smiled and offered his hand again to seal the deal. "And when the lady speaks, I make it law..."

Domingo handed John a data padd, it had all the details that they needed, about their new shop. There new quarters. Domingo was going to work on second room extension at the end of this meeting, and update the padd. And their credentials to access different parts of the station. "I believe this has everything you will need."

Nicole looked at John, outwardly she was calm but he could tell in an instant when she was bubbling with excitement. There was a certain twinkle in her eyes and body language that gave it away to him even though others might not see it. She couldn’t wait to get their new home sorted they wanted it and while that was being done she could stay quite comfortably on the Runabout if necessary. “Thank you Admiral, we won’t forget this.”

"Indeed we won't. Thank you again." he gestured to lead the way back to the runabout, they had their manifest there after all.

Nicole stood and took her husband’s arm, she was looking forward to staying at the station now she’d met and talked to Martinez.
