Mission: VFY S9, E1: We Have A Home
Location: Valhalla Fleet Yards
Timeline: Late at night.

The promenade less busy at this late hour. Few shops where open, only one or two bars or late night restaurants that held most of the life. This was very much his type of place, however, there were very glaring issues with less people around. A single person walking around would often stand out, he had learned a long time ago that being part of a public crowd had it's own type of anonymity. You could play around with groups and simply blend into the feel of the surroundings. But he was here for a very specific reason, spending decades collecting information that could easily bring down dynasties, no matter where he went, there was always those who would pay for good solid information.

Now he stood not far from one of the bars, he had ordered a drink and was standing just outside. He was sure that someone would complain to keep the drinking inside the bar, there was always someone who complained. As if summoned by some entity, a young security grunt walked up to him. "Keep the beer inside the establishment!" he commanded, gesturing with his whole hand towards the door. It was clear this young man thought he was dealing with a drunkard and would cause a fuzz.

Slowly, looking up from his drink, he looked at the young man before addressing him. "Officer, I am sure you hear the loud sounds from inside. I am simply standing here to get a little more peace and quiet while I enjoy my drink." he said, his face was hooded as if the lights was offensive to him.

The young man looked a little surprised, the words that was spoken wasn't slurred or aggressive. in fact they where very calm and collected. But the hood thing was a bit to much. "Let me see your face." the security guard said.

Without a word, the hood was pulled back, showing a very nasty scar across the eyes and bridge of the nose. Both eyes where milky white as if looking out at nothing. It was all a show, he could see just fine, with simple eye lenses and prosthetics you could look like what ever you wanted. Hell, he could even pull off a convincing Klingon in a pinch. He made sure to look bothered by the lights by squinting heavily. "I apologize officer. My eyes are very sensitive to light, even if I am blind I can not shake the light sensitivity."

The officer was a little surprised by what he saw, he didn't act or move like he was blind but the sound thing made more sense since being blind usually made other senses more acute. "Alright, you can pull the hood back, but do not move further away from the establishment while you are drinking alcohol." He ordered.

The hood was pulled back over his head with practiced ease. "Thank you officer, I will be sure not to do so." he gave a slight bow and saluted him with his drink. The officer moved away to continue his patrol. After a long moment a beep came from his wrist, it looked like a digital watch, but the display showed "Data retrieved," and a smile came his his mouth as he placed the drink on a table next to the door, he removed a palm sized device from next to the console that was next to him and walked off towards his next destination.
