[Star Trek Hidden Frontier: S1, E1: Enemy Unknown, Part 1] The Dominion makes a last stand in the Lapolis System. Outnumbered and outgunned, the Dominion puts up a valiant fight. This was a turning point in the War that would later become known as; “The Battle of Lapolis.” The USS Devonshire is part of the war efforts. They are ordered by Admiral Ross to chase down a Jem’Ha’Dar Battleship and a Cardassian Cruiser that is trying to make a run for the McAlister Nebula.

The USS Devonshire is joined by the USS Rutledge and the USS Tian An Men. The three ships chase after the fleeing ships. The Rutledge goes after the Cardassian ship while the Tian Am Men and the Devonshire go after the Jem’Ha’Dar Battleship. The Jem’Ha’Dar Battleship destroys the Tian Am Men after a weapons volley. This does not prevent Captain Knapp from continuing his pursuit of the Jem’Ha’Dar Battleship. Before the Devonshire entered the nebula the Jem’Ha’Dar Battleship hit the ship broadside, and got lucky shot in. Temporarily disabling the Devonshire.

Once the Devonshire enters the Nebula they learn that the Jem’Ha’Dar Battleship and the Cardassian ship are both destroyed. They notice the USS Rutledge is still in operation, but she seems to be missing crew. Captain Knapp orders Commander Rodriguez to investigate the disappearance of the Rutledge crew. During the investigation an unknown enemy begin a pysonic attack and take half of the Devonshire crew, before they are able to escape in escape pods. The Devonshire sacrificed herself, in order to let the escape pods have a chance at being rescued.

2376:

[Star Trek Hidden Frontier: S1, E2: Enemy Unknown, Part 2] 18 months later… The USS Excelsior NCC-2000-B is being posted to Deep Space 12. She is a galaxy class dreadnought. The command of the Excelsior falls to Captain Ian Quincy Knapp; he believes the crew is too inexperienced for this type of command.

[Star Trek Hidden Frontier: S1, E3: Enemy Unknown, Part 3] The USS Excelsior NCC-2000-B prepares to leave Deep Space 12, Starfleet wants to deploy “Operation Devron” there goal to negotiate wit the Grey. They manage to capture a soldier. Captain Knapp leads a task force, they achieve their goals, but for a brief moment Captain Knapp is capture, but the crew of the Excelsior-B manages to rescue him. The operation was a success.
